PageReady Guides exists for a narrow job: help someone merge, compress, convert, split, number, flatten, or tidy a PDF without wading through tool roundups or vague “click merge” screenshots that are already out of date.
Guides currently cover:

What this site is

- Generic steps that should survive menu-name changes.
- Notes on passwords, scans, file-size limits, and layout loss — the parts that actually stall a task.
What this site is not
- We are not a PDF app, an online converter, or a place to upload documents.
- We do not rank paid tools or invent search-volume, difficulty, or revenue numbers.
- We do not claim any converter is free forever or that compression is lossless just because a button says so.
- We do not help remove or recover PDF passwords. The protect guide only covers setting a password on a file you can already open.
